Over the past decade, Koolaburra has transcended the sheepskin boot market to become an international premium fashion footwear brand. Koolaburra’s luxurious, yet edgy and unique point of view has turned their fashion-forward footwear into a staple of style icons everywhere.
Priding themselves on innovation and authenticity, they are constantly redefining the boundaries of footwear. Special details and chic embellishments have become their signature. This year, Koolaburra expanded with a highly successful Spring/Summer 2010 footwear collection that gave the brand a complete year-round offering.
Constant innovation is the mantra of Koolaburra’s design team and they have upped the bar with the introduction of the new Modern Classics and Luxe Collections. Demand for our product is driven by our ability to constantly evolve.
Core to Koolaburra’s vision is a love of fashion and music. Every season their collections are infused with a soundtrack of both modern and classic songs. Like a beloved stack of records, Koolaburra is perfect mix, juxtaposing the ethos of rocker chic daring with boho sensibility. Like no other shoe can, they can take a wearer from the sidewalks of the big city to the beaches of Malibu, making a statement with every step.

Koolaburra, the family owned and operated company whose roots in the international footwear industry span more than 50 years, brought chic comfort to Access Hollywood’s 3rd Annual Stuff You Must Lounge where celebrities kicked off the weekend festivities for the Golden Globes with Koolaburra boots. The Fringe boot, recently featured as our shuzsociety “fab friday” designer shoe giveaway, was shown as well as other designs with Swarovski crystals like the Tribal Heart, Peace Sign and Peace Dove, and for men the Fleur de Lys and the Nautical Star.

Vanessa Hudgens of High School Musical is already a loyal Koolaburra fan. She bought her first pair, the Fringe boot in black, at Planet Blue in Malibu. “I absolutely live in my fringe boots.” Look to find her in the Peace Dove in chestnut, “you will definitely see me in these.”
Access Hollywood featured Koolaburra in their segment on Friday, January 9th with Nancy O’Dell who later said, “these are going to be my new on set shoes”.

Other stars who stopped by the lounge were Alicia Coppola of Jericho, Evan Handler of Californication, Twilight’s Rachelle LeFevre, Sophia Bush of One Tree Hill and Blair Underwood.

If you could design the perfect pair of shoes, what features would they have?
Comfort and elegance, they would have to be well made and preferably out of materials that are environmentally friendly.
Who is your favorite shoe designer?
CYDWOQ, Emilio Pucci, Jimmy Choo, I think I would wear almost anything out there if I could.
What shoe trend would you like to see disappear?
Chunky, heavy shoes
What is your most favorite shoe style of all time?
Kitten heals, they go with almost anything anywhere and I can wear them all day.
