shuzsociety: Why do you love shoes?
Kathleen: Shoes are the ‘center’ of my style. If I see a pair of shoes that I just HAVE to own, I will purchase them, and then shop and select an outfit that compliments them. It’s kind of like eating dessert first, then the entree.
shuzsociety: If you could design the perfect pair of shoes, what features would they have?
Kathleen: My feet would feel as if they were walking on soft, cushy clouds, so the shoes would be made from the finest, softest leather. The stiletto heel, with a bit of bling (on the back of the heel) and the small platform would make me feel as if I could reach those clouds. Cagey, thin straps would embrace my entire foot. Moreover, my perfect pair of shoes would gently whisper their femininity to the opposite sex,”Come hither!”
shuzsociety: Who is your favorite footwear designer?
Kathleen: Jimmy Choo is my favorite designer.
shuzsociety: What shoe trend would you like to see disappear?
Kathleen: Crocs, the ugliest shoes ever made. EUUUUUUUUU!!! I know they’re comfortable, but save them for nurses-only during working hours!
shuzsociety: What is your most favorite shoe style of all time?
Kathleen: I would have to say, the classic pump. It has such versatility, especially on those days when it’s hard to make a decision of what to wear. The pump can be dressed up or down, with a suit or jeans. Voila!
