WTF? What the Footwear?????

YOU be the judge.  I’m at a loss for words on this footwear creation from Irregular Choice.

Alexander McQueen Engraved Platform Wedge “ONLY” $2,900!

From our friends at shoeblog.com … thank you!  We HAD to share this one!

Alexander McQueen Engraved Platform Wedge

Alexander McQueen Engraved Platform Wedge

Hmm. Most of you shoe fanatics out there have seen this exorbitantly expensive, whimsically fierce McQueen wedge on the runways of Spring 2011.

It was $3495 last time we brought news of it to you on ShoeBlogNow it’s a bit lower, at $2909. Not a huge change, but $600 less is good!

The boot, meanwhile, is now $2097.50.

I’d rather have the white ones with butterflies, but I would take any of the above if I could afford them!

WTF? Design Shoes Embellished With Boars Hair??

What The …. Footwear???  Boars hair … really? Someone sold ice to an Eskimo at this designer shoe factory!   And bonus, it comes in black too!   My guess is we will NOT see these on the red carpet anytime soon.  But hey, if you have $850 to burn, they are all yours!

There are definitely some creative minds in the world when it comes to footwear!  But, WTF??  (what the footwear?)  Sometimes, words are not needed to enjoy creativity.

WTF? Hoof Heels

WTF (what the footwear)?   Even if these are made of ceramic, platinum gold luster, flock, glaze and fur, not sure I would even consider these art OR decoration. Maybe at Santa’s house, but not mine!  Art is in the eye of the beholder, so they say.

WHAT THE … footwear??   So we ask you, are these shoe styles considered fashionable, works of art or was the designer just a wee bit delusional?  Feel free to add your comments!

shuzsociety would like to give credit to Trendhunter Magazine, for the interesting finds!

WTF?!? Funky Footwear

WHAT THE… footwear???  These are shoes that have caught our eye (and not in a good way) and that we politely call interesting, “artistic”, or, rather, to be blunt, just down right ugly. These shoes are not for the faint of heart.  They’re more… Lady Gaga-esque.  If you consider yourself to be a risk taker like the afore mentioned fashion trailblazer, then feast your eyes on the following fantastically freaky footwear. But, if you do decide to go public in any one of these styles, consider yourself warned, you might turn some heads, and like we said… not in a good way.

Versace’s knee-high cut-out boot…. Oh, Donatella… What were you thinking?  Is it a rainboot?  A stripper shoe?  Or a combination of the two?  I’m just not sure…

Maybe this particular shoe designer was extremely hungry when they set out to design this footwear line.  Or maybe they just really, really, REALLY like bananas.

No. Just… NO.

This interesting piece of footwear has been coined the “armadillo” shoe, from Alexander McQueen’s most current and last collection.  This, in a way, makes this shoe quite valuable actually.  Does that mean we recommend you actually wear this shoe?  No, it does not.  But, interestingly enough, guess who has?  Lady Gaga.

Ahh, yes.  We always like to save the best for last.  This horrific clog is from Louis Vuitton if you can believe it. It actually looks like it’s growing a mustache.  A look that isn’t good anywhere.  Not even on facial hair.

Tell us what you think!  Shuzsociety wants to know: Would you ever wear any of these shoes?
