February 7th, 2009 marks the first-ever couture lingerie show to come to the United States “Celebrating Femininity, Empowering Women.”

Lingerie Miami, hosted by Eva Longoria Parker, revels in the magical setting of the Italianate Vizcaya Museum and Gardens overlooking Biscayne Bay and will feature a “Celebrity Catwalk Show” of Europe’s finest couture lingerie labels: Agent Provocateur, Fifi Chachnil, and Carine Gilson. The show will also salute the exquisite couture creations of world-renowned designer Vivienne Westwood and corsetiere-to-the-stars, Mr Pearl.

The event is dedicated to funding microfinance programs to assist women empower themselves out of poverty around the globe. To achieve its vision, 7Bar Foundation is launching Lingerie Miami as an international brand with a first-ever luxury and couture lingerie fashion show, to then be followed by Lingerie NYC, Lingerie LA, Lingerie London and Lingerie Paris.
